Terms & Conditions for Unplug yourself by SOMOS Alchemy
Welcome to the mini retreat experiences in the mountains. By booking and participating, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Company Information

These terms apply to all retreats and services offered by SOMOS Alchemy.
2. Booking & Payment
2.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only once payment is received in full or a deposit has been paid.
2.2 Payment Terms: The remaining balance will be requested 3 weeks prior to the retreat start date via an invitation.
2.3 Refused Bookings: SOMOS Alchemy reserves the right to refuse any booking without explanation.
2.4 Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice. Once your booking is confirmed, the price is locked.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans may change, and you may need to cancel your retreat. The following terms apply:
3.1 Public Retreats Cancellation:
Up to 60 days before the retreat: Full refund minus a €50 administration fee.
59-36 days before the retreat: 35% of the retreat cost is non-refundable.
35-22 days before the retreat: 75% of the retreat cost is non-refundable.
21-14 days before the retreat: 90% of the retreat cost is non-refundable.
14 days or less before the retreat: 100% of the retreat cost is non-refundable.
3.2 Private Event Cancellation:
The initial deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another retreat, at my discretion, if requested at least 60 days before the event start date.
If canceled more than 90 days before the retreat, any amount paid above the deposit will be refunded.
Between 90 and 61 days before the retreat: 50% of the total retreat cost will be charged (including the deposit).
Between 60 and 31 days before the retreat: 75% of the total retreat cost will be charged.
Within 30 days of the retreat, or in case of no-show, 100% of the total cost is non-refundable.
3.3 Extreme Situations: In certain circumstances (e.g., illness, family emergency), I may waive the cancellation fees or offer future travel credits at my discretion.
3.4 Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. You are responsible for securing appropriate insurance to cover cancellations, accidents, and other unexpected events. SOMOS Alchemy is not responsible for any costs incurred due to illness, injury, or changes to your travel plans.
4. Liability & Assumption of Risk
4.1 Assumption of Risk: By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. SOMOS Alchemy is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during the retreat, including personal property loss.
4.2 Health: You must ensure you are medically fit to participate in the retreat. If you have any health conditions, please inform me in advance.
4.3 Force Majeure: SOMOS Alchemy is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government action, or extreme weather).
4.4 Third-Party Providers: If the retreat includes third-party services (e.g., transport, meals, activities), SOMOS Alchemy is not responsible for any issues or disputes arising from these third-party providers. They are solely responsible for their services.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 You must be physically and mentally prepared to participate in the retreat and follow all instructions during activities.
5.2 You are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) and ensuring your travel insurance is in place.
5.3 You are responsible for any damages caused to the accommodation or any other property during your stay.
6. Changes to the Retreat
6.1 Retreat Modifications: SOMOS Alchemy reserves the right to alter or cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances. If the retreat is canceled, you will be fully refunded.
6.2 Late Arrivals: If you arrive late or leave early, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the retreat.
7. Complaint & Dispute Resolution
7.1 Complaints: If you have any concerns or complaints during the retreat, please inform me immediately so I can resolve them.
7.2 Mediation & Disputes: Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation.
7.3 Time Limitation for Legal Action: Any legal claim must be filed within 6 months of the incident that caused the claim.
8. Intellectual Property & Media
8.1 Media Release: By attending the retreat, you grant permission to use photographs and videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any media, please notify me in advance.
8.2 Social Media: By attending, you also grant permission for your content (such as social media posts) related to the retreat to be reposted by SOMOS Alchemy on its social media platforms.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, where SOMOS Alchemy is officially registered.
9.2 In case of disputes related to the retreats held in Austria and Germany, the relevant jurisdiction will be in the country where the retreat takes place. Any dispute will be resolved through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1 Updates to Terms & Conditions: SOMOS Alchemy reserves the right to update or change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
10.2 Severability: If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
10.3 Force Majeure: SOMOS Alchemy is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions.
11. Travel Insurance
11.1 Travel Insurance: It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate travel insurance for your trip. SOMOS Alchemy does not provide travel insurance. We highly recommend securing coverage that includes trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge that you are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance.
